Thanksgiving NFL

On Thursday evening in Baltimore the brothers Harbaugh will take sibling rivalry to a new height as the John led Ravens take on the Jim led 9ers.  When the schedule was released back in April everyone said oh how nice the NFL made a family friendly decision to have the 9ers come to Baltimore and take on the Ravens for a Harbaugh lovefest.  Most people figured this would see a struggling new coach taking on a veteran team with the outcome being no surprise.  Fast forward about 7 months and the 9ers are 9-1 having won 8 straight and looking like a contender for the Super Bowl.  The Ravens have been a little bit inconsistent--especially on the road--but still are 7-3 and tied with the Patriots and Steelers for the best record in the AFC.  The game will feature 2 great defenses and could be decided long after the turkey is cold around 11:30 Thursday evening.  The game will also see 2 of the league's best runners in the 9ers Frank Gore (870 yards rushing-5 TD's) and Baltimore's Ray Rice (663 yards rushing, 51 catches for 513 yards and 8 TD's).  I don't think it is going out on a limb to say that the Harbaugh boys could be giving us a preview, Thursday night , of the Super Bowl in Indy.
