Angel is green

So much for being hot going into the Masters. Green jacket winner Angel Cabrera had missed the cut in the previous 2 weeks and his best finish of the year was 13th but that was in February! The Argentinian was lurking in the shadows all weekend long and pounced when others around him made blunders. While Campbell, Perry and Mickelson were playing the final 2 holes over par Cabrera went Par...Par to finish at 12 under! That gets him into the playoff and he showed
he had more guts than Campbell and Perry in sudden death. Still amazed that his 2nd shot, on the first playoff hole, ricochets off a tree and instead of going right towards the 10th fairway...ends up a short wedge from the green in the 18th fairway! Golf gods were obviously on Angel's shoulder. I also think he traded on the experience he had in winning the 2007 U-S Open at Oakmont where he stared down Tiger and Jim Furyk to win by a shot on the toughest course in America! I'm sure that experience helped him this weekend.

Oh my predictions-Tiger T6...O'Hair T10 & Ogilvy T15. Not bad I'm sure a lot of people didn't have Cabrera on their list of possible winners.
