McNabb
Amazing how a season can change with 1 decision. Eagles Coach Andy Reid is looking like Nostradamus for his benching of Donovan McNabb in the 2nd half of the Philly loss to the Ravens just before Thanksgiving. With Donovan wearing a cape on the sidelines many in the pressbox started writing the postmortems on McNabb's years in Philly. McNabb should have been benched after an atrocious 1st half but Reid's decision to start him on a short week against the Cardinals looks brilliant. McNabb and company roasted the Cards 48-20 in the next game 4 days later and went on to make the playoffs as the final Wild Card in the NFC. Reid and McNabb looked to be on their way out in Philly...now they are the toast of the town. The only problem is IF they lose to Arizona on Sunday afternoon in the NFC Title game many of the Eagles fans will still be calling for their heads saying they can't win the big one. Sorry ditching both Reid and McNabb would be a big mistake. Those 2 guys are the main reason the Eagles made it to the final 4.
