#3 Penn State had the most impressive win of the weekend as they stomped #24 Wisconsin in Madison! The offense--after another slow start--revved it up in the 2nd quarter and scored 24 points. Darryll Clark looks like a Heisman contender. He's not getting some of the publicity of the Q-B's in the Big 12 but has been terrific. Check out these season stats. Clark has accounted for over 1500 yards and 16 touchdowns for the 7-0 Lions. His stats stack up with anyone in the country. I was thinking what if Joe Pa had ditched Anthony Morelli last season and Clark started the 2nd half.
Penn State faces a real land mine this weekend as they hosts 2-4 Michigan (Saturday 3p on WSBA). The Wolverines just lost to Toledo and really should be 1-5 after getting a gift from Wisconsin a few weeks ago. Penn State can't let down heading into their matchup on October 25th against Ohio State in Columbus. Who would have thought that Michigan would be a trap game!!!
