The Orioles and Phillies could be very busy as the trading deadline comes up in the next week or so. At last night's Orioles game a number of scouts--including a Phillies scout--were there to watch Blue Jays starter A-J Burnett. The Phils have reportedly been interested in adding another starter. Off of Brett Myers so-so start against the Mets Wednesday night he might need to be very good next week or the Phils might pull the trigger.

A number of scouts were also in town to look at Orioles closer George Sherrill, DH Aubrey Huff and 2nd basemen Brian Roberts. The Orioles might not move any of those guys but if they get blown away by some deal...they might go for it. The team still needs to add prospects and if they can get them go ahead. If another trade brings them the likes of Luke Scott, Adam Jones and Sherrill then go for it.
