Final 4

We are on the heels of the Final 4 and to most observers it looks like Kentucky is the king of college basketball.  The Wildcats are lone #1 seed to survive to New Orleans. You may not like what John Calipari does in Lexington but he does get studs to spend some quality time in Rupp Arena.

I will stick with the Wildcats to win the whole ball of wax on Monday Night.  So far in the tournament Kentucky hasn't really been challenged.  They have won their 4 games, in the Dance, by just under 14 points and have not really been tested.  They manhandled Iowa State, Indiana and Baylor in their run to the Crescent City.  I also think Wildcats Coach John Calipari would like nothing better than to beat cross-state rival Louisville in the National Semifinal Saturday evening.

I have Kansas beating Ohio State in the other semifinal.  The Jayhawks are a more solid team than the Buckeyes but all bets are off if Jared Sullinger gets hot and stays out of foul trouble.  No matter the winner of the Kansas-OSU game will still be watching Monday Night when the Wildcats hoist the school's 8th National Championship trophy.
