Week 2

The Ravens spent the off-season upgrading their offense getting Anquin Boldin and also adding T.J. Houshmandzadeh to give Joe Flacco more targets. By the end of the season these 2 big additions may prove to be critical to the team's success but in the end the team will go as far as their defense takes them. You only needed to watch the 2nd series of the game Monday night against the Jets to realize that. The Jets forced a Flacco fumble and recovered on the Purplebirds 14 but only ended up with a field goal because the defense shut down Mark Sanchez and the Jets. Combine the lock down defense with a much improved offense and you have to think the Ravens will live up to the hype and be a Super Bowl contender this year.
