Mission accomplished

One of the biggest issues the Ravens had heading into the off season was getting QB Joe Flacco more targets. One of the main reasons that Flacco seemed to struggle in the passing game last year was due to a lack of targets. G-M Ozzie Newsome to the rescue! In about 4 weeks the Wizard has found Flacco plenty of toys. In Mid February the team signed Donte Stallworth to a 1 year deal. 5 days ago Baltimore acquired 3 time all Pro Anquan Boldin for draft picks and then yesterday the Purplebirds resign Derrick Mason to a 2 year $8 million deal. Now teams won't be able to double team Mason and shutdown the Ravens pass game. Do that now and Big Joe looks to Stallworth or Boldin and don't forget Tight End Todd Heap and Running Back Ray Rice.

What the signings also do is allow the team to target some other priorities in the draft. The Ravens need to add a Safety, Cornerback and a Rush End. I would love to see the Ravens use their 25th pick in the draft to take Penn State Defensive End Jared Odrick. Odrick is big 6'5" 296 but is very agile and had 7 sacks last season. I think he would be the perfect guy for the Raven's defense.
