Wild Card Playoffs

Eagles and Ravens fans should be very worried heading into the first round of the playoffs. Both teams are 6th seeds heading into the NFL's 2nd season.

The Eagles played maybe their poorest game of the season at worst time when they got manhandled by the Cowboys in the final game. Instead of getting a bye and hosting a game the Eagles have to return to Dallas Saturday night to face a fired up Cowboys team. I think the Eagles are 1 and done in the post-season.

The Ravens took care of business on the final day of the season and beat the Raiders. However I think their are a host of issues in Crabtown. The defense is not getting enough pressure on the quarterback and with the corners not great one on one defenders they are getting killed. The good news for Baltimore is they are facing a really struggling Patriots team. New England Q-B Tom Brady has a number of issues with some bruised ribs and a broken finger on his throwing hand. In addition their #1 reciever Wes Welker suffered a knee injury and will not play the remainder of the season. The Ravens will key on Randy Moss and must shut him down if they have a chance to win in Foxboro. The good news for the Ravens is the Patriots have really struggled on defense. This one might turn out to be a shootout. I still think the Pats win.
