So Joe Pa is defending playing 1-AA Eastern Illinois Saturday at Beaver Stadium. OK we all know about Appalachian State beating Michigan last year but that was in the first week of the season and Michigan was putrid last season. Penn State is WAY better than last year's version of the Wolverines. This game should not be on the schedule period. We all know what this is about...simply a money grab by the Nittany Lions. The 8th home game of the season will give Penn State millions of dollars to fund the rest of the athletic programs at the school. That is fine but in the future schedule at least a Division 1 school. In my mind Penn State shouldn't get credit for the win.
