Phils rotation

The Phillies brass is facing a difficult decision. Who will make up their rotation for the final 7 weeks of the regular season. Here are the guys who are definitely in the rotation. Cliff Lee, Cole Hamels, Joe Blanton. Right now lefties Jamie Moyer and J.A. Happ are in the final 2 spots. One of these guys will be the odd man out when Pedro Martinez is ready to go. The Phils didn't bring the former Cy Young award winner in to put him in the bullpen.

Last night Happ was almost unhittable in a complete game 4 hit shutout. The rookie is 8-2 and in one of those 2 loses the lefty gave up just 3 hits and 2 earned runs. He really has had only 1 bad outing since being called up and that was against the Cards when he surrendered 10 hits and 5 runs. Moyer however has been very inconsistent all season long. Most troubling with Moyer is his 5 and a half ERA. Moyer is a veteran who will take any demotion, to the bullpen, better than the rookie. If Pedro is ineffective the Phils can bring Moyer back into the starting rotation. That move makes the most sense to me.
