OTA's

If anyone needs further information about what the American pastime has become I give you exhibit A. The other day nearly 40 reporters attended the Patriots "OTA" that featured the return of QB Tom Brady. Organized team activities are no pads, no tackling team workouts in May and June that are intended to get the players ready for the opening of training camp in about 7 weeks. For 40 reporters to show up to see Brady fling the ball around a bit is amazing. This guy missed a season with a knee injury. He is certainly one of the reasons the Patriots are one of the best teams in the league but without him they went 11-5 and almost made the playoffs. He has been anointed as the fair-haired boy of the NFL and is the closest thing to a LeBron/Kobe/Jordan style personality for the League.
