Another huge crowd for the Blue-White game on Saturday. Word out of State College the offense looked very good and that Darryl Clark is very much in control of the team. That might be a good sign for Lions fans. It still amazes me that on a beautiful day people would want to sit around and watch a glorified practice. I've watched enough practices as a reporter to tell you they mean very little! Apparently the insanity isn't isolated to Penn State. Nearly 97 thousand attended the Ohio State Spring Scrimmage in Columbus on Saturday.
We are coming to playoff time for many of the high school sports teams. Hey instead of going out and watching a practice at Penn State....take a few hours and go to one of your high school baseball, softball or boys volleyball games and cheer for those boys and girls. They deserve your support. You might be surprised how entertaining the real games can be.
