So the Final 4 is set and Villanova looks like the Cinderella. Problem is the Wildcats have been ranked in the Top 15 in the country for most of the season and are a threat to win out. So much for a glass slipper in Motown. Since my brackets are in shambles I will reseed for this weekend. #1 North Carolina...#2 UConn...#3 Michigan State...#4 Villanova but any one of these clubs could win it all. I do like Carolina over Nova and U-Conn to beat the home team Spartans. I think right now the Heels are the team to beat. If they play defense the way they did against Oklahoma on Sunday they are the best team in the nation. All season long their defense has been suspect but they really turned things up on Sunday against the Sooners...they will need to play like that on Saturday to beat the Wildcats.
Tiger Woods is right on track to be competitive at the Master's in a week and a half. The world #1 had sturggled with his putter in his first 2 tournaments but was really dialed in at Bay Hill as he gets his 6th win at Arnie's place. Tiger was 2nd in Greens in Regulation and 1st in putting during his dramatic 1 shot win over Sean O'Hair. Did anyone doubt that Tiger was going to make that 16 footer for the win....seen it too many times to doubt him. If he is 2nd GIR's and 1st in putting at Augusta he will be wearing another green jacket. I also knew that Tiger's knee was OK when I saw him try and hit out of the front bunker at 17. His surgically repaired left knee was almost parallel to the ground when he scooped the ball from almost under the front lip of the sand trap.
Before I leave you 1 fun fact on Tiger. He has won Arnie's tourney 6 times and the Master's 4 times. But in how many years has he won both tournaments. In 2001 & 2002 Tiger won back to back at Bay Hill and Augusta. FYI he won at Bay Hill last year and finished 2nd at Augusta.
