SB 43

Was it the greatest Super Bowl ever. Not sure but certainly Sunday's win by the Steelers over the Cards is in the conversation. It might take a few years to digest everything from Sunday night.

Some quick thoughts. Anyone who thinks that Kurt Warner doesn't deserve to be in the Hall of Fame is just plain wrong. He is a 2 time league MVP...Super Bowl MVP. His numbers in the big game are better than Joe Montana and John Elway in less games than those 2 HOFers. If the Cards defense stops the Steelers on the final drive the conversation is over because Warner is the MVP. For crying out loud the guy threw for 377 yards and 3 touchdowns against the Steelers defense on Sunday. NO one did that all season long.

Ben Roethlisberger made amends for his poor performance in Super Bowl 40. Big Ben was fantastic Sunday especially on the final drive. For the 6th time this season he led the Steelers on a game winning drive in the final minutes. He might not be real pretty like Tom Brady or Peyton Manning but Roethlisberger is a winner and that is all that counts in the NFL.

Just a reminder. The Phils open training camp on Feb. 13th and the Orioles report on Valentines Day.
