NFL Week 2

What a wild week 2 in the NFL. The Packers blew a big lead and then rebound to hammer the Lions. Peyton Manning single-handedly beats the Vikings. A botched call costs the Chargers a win. And the Monday Night game was a thriller with 10 lead changes and the Cowboys coming out on top.

My take on the Eagles loss is the defense has to play better especially after leading nicely at the half. You have to think after the first 2 weeks of the season the Cowboys and the Eagles are among the class of the NFC. One thing from the Eagles loss. Rookie DeSean Jackson will be getting a nice tongue lashing from Donovan McNabb and Andy Reid. The 1st year player--who could be a star--has to make sure he is in the endzone before he showboats. However we should have seen this coming...check out this video from when DeSean was a high schooler.

The Ravens difficult schedule became even tougher with the postponing of Sunday's game with the Texans. Moving the game to November 9th--their bye week--sets them up for 5 road games in 6 weeks! and then they host the Eagles on Nov 23rd. Yikes. I don't think the league did the team any good.
