You've got to be kidding

Give me a break! The Red Sox traded Manny Ramirez because they got tired of hearing his whining! It could be one of the stupidest moves in many years. You can't tell me the Red Sox are better off with Jason Bay in their line-up instead of Manny. Ramirez is one of the best clutch hitters of his generation. Yes he is a flake...malcontent...lousy teammate...you name it. At the end of the day the Red Sox have a much better chance of making it to the post-season with Manny than without him. The move by the Dodgers is a good one. They are locked in a tight race with the D-backs for the N-L West title. Both teams are hanging around .500 and this could give L-A the upper hand in the fight for the division. Joe Torre will be able to handle Manny and keep him happy. The Dodgers skipper is a master at handling his players and get the most out of them. Pencil the Dodgers in for the post-season.
