Ray Lewis' Future

I think I know what Ray Lewis is going to do when he retires. The Ravens All Pro Linebacker is going to become a recruiting coordinator for Ozzie Newsome. When the Seattle Seahawks cut All Pro Wide Receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh on Saturday #52 picked up the phone and convinced the former division rival to come to Baltimore. Housh signed a 1 year $855 thousand dollar deal to play for the Ravens and get a chance to win a Super Bowl ring.

The move was a no brainer for the Ravens. They did have to part company with former 1st round pick Mark Clayton but it was WELL worth it. Last season Houshmandzadeh had 79 catches for 911 yards and 3 touchdowns. Clayton--traded to the lowly Rams--had 34 catches for 480 yards. Clayton was constantly injured during his years in Baltimore. Houshmandzadeh gives the Ravens 5 receivers with Pro Bowl honors. He joins Wideouts Anquin Bolden, Derrick Mason, Todd Heap and Ray Rice as targets for Joe Flacco. Talk about match-up problems. Throw in Donte Stallworth, when he returns, and the Ravens offense is going to be VERY pass oriented.
